Everything looks ok with the exception of streaming video, it's nigh impossible to stream any real video content. (240/360/480p does not qualify as real video).

So KZN is still fooked for now!

Latency is through the roof, 253ms to durban.spdtst.saix.net

Been having the same problem. High ping 300+ ms as well as a low throughput on a 4MB line. Did the reset, did the dns change. Nada. Seems like Telkom.

Internet broke at around 11PM, all my friends on Telkom had packet loss on teamspeak of ~50%, we then all (on telkom) dropped from the game of Dota 2 we were playing. It resolved thankfully fast enough that we didn't abandon game.

Same with Battlefield and identical period. Got dumped from server 3 times.

Edit broken again at 12 pm

We had a bit of a nightmare migration in Durban. I think everything should be working now, please let me know if there are any issues.

Youtube is working again my side, things were very bad yesterday but it seems to be ok today.

mtr gives me about 90% packet loss.

Doing a normal ping to most sites results in 100% packet loss, interrupting it and starting again sometimes works. Sometimes it works after an initial bunch of lost packets.

Youtube will sit there buffering for 2+ minutes before a video actually starts playing, watching the traffic lights on the router you see them flashing and then it just stops, later starts again. Also should you click anywhere on the progress bar (buffered or unbuffered) the video will no longer play. Oh and when a video eventually starts it's at the lowest resolution.

Something's not kosher.
