I think it's easily believable for an exchange to become congested within a few if enough new people sign from the area sign up within those few weeks.
And anyway I was only making a statement as opposed to blaming his exchange.

I suggest you go find the ISP that doesn't throttle torrents and move to them. I can suggest CW :p
It can't be the exchange if I swap over and everything works. Why is my shaping worse than others or perhaps they get chased away from this feedback as well?

That Hjul is not customer-focused, which put me off CW, or else I would have tried that.

How is a generic name the same as a link? Do you know how many torrents there are for Series X Season Y Episode Z? I'm not even gonna start looking. What's the point of me picking one and it's not the same one you are using?

You do realise a torrent is a unique 'identifier' or link? When someone asks for a torrent you provide them with the link or actual file, it's not like I asked for a movie/series name.

Hello, I was liasing with Draken about possible exchange congestion. I was NOT referring to your case at all, why would I? We all know you don't want help diagnosing your problem, you prefer to deal with Telkom Helpdesk's brain dead call centre. I guess it's cause they the only ones dumb enough to believe or listen to you.

Well last night Telkom Internet at my home in Bloemfontein was deader than the Dodo, Afrihost flew ... , just spoke to my Son who is home from school, says internet is running fine again ... , wonder what the issue was last night ...

As per ranger ...

There is again a transmission failure between Centurion and Johannesburg around 13h45, affecting half our IPC, half our internet breakout and half our peering capacity in Gauteng.
 
Guess I'll try streaming on my 4 meg line again as the past few weeks it's been impossible. Let's see what happens tonight.
