Telkom Internet Capped/Uncapped User Feedback (Pt2)

Can't even stream 240p youtube video where it's actually watchable. 6:47pm

10MB connection uncapped = R1300+ per month - This really makes me wonder why I would have something this expensive that is this crap to use. This will definitely teach me a lesson for upgrading to a 10MB connection... It's sooooo slow a 2MB connection many times less the price would be more or less the same. Makes me wonder why these parasites even offer something higher than 2MB... uhmm... I wonder no more, because they actually are parasites.

Downloading latest USB installer at 1063kb. File download stuck at 51%......lol I'm surprised the page loaded to get the link. No, Telkom is 100% useless this evening. I'm considering alternative options since I only browse between 5pm and 12pm, which is when it doesn't work. Seriously I'm looking for alternative isp at the moment.
 
Ridiculously bad today - usually the 10mb uncapped will handle two people streaming netflix but today I can barely get one going.

If you are in the North (Gauteng etc.), this should have been resolved by around 11h00.

A change was implemented early yesterday morning (one that I have mentioned before that was being planned), but by around 07h30 we started to see some user experience impact. We consulted with vendor support engineers, who recommended changes at around 10h15, they were implemented one some of the infrastructure, which showed improvements, so the change was rolled out to the rest by 10h30. Traffic could have taken a while to normalise.

I'm also on 4mb Uncapped. I went to about 120GB for October and then hit "Orange", without nightsurfer. I wonder if they've change the threshold ? I've only done 15GB for November so far, so still very much in the green but it'll be hard to tell if things have changed. Sucks if it did though.
