Thanks Mick... look at the hop #3 stats in your first 2 tests (last night). YoYo effect, which kills gaming.

To trump all traceroutes, Here is the results from a smokeping server setup on a 10mbps line - dialing into multiple PPPoE accounts for latency testing and routing purposes in the Western Cape:

IMAX is not a problem, 400mbps VLL, ESR has 40gbps provisioned.

Something is definitely very very wrong with TI... (at least everything that routes through Western Cape IPC - Cape Town, PE etc etc)
