Telkom Internet Capped/Uncapped User Feedback (Pt2)

I have a Telkom 4mb line with uncapped package. I just got a popup message now that I have reached my limit and my line is going to be throttled.

Checked my usage and I have used just 107GB so far this month. My normal usage is around 220GB a month with no throttling.

Any ideas why I will be limited so early?

There was a hiccup with no usage stats for capped accounts yesterday but they were back today and looked OK, maybe uncapped usage is being measured incorrectly as I see they've finally fixed the problem I had with TITracker and my 10MB uncapped + integrated sim (been bombing out with a database error for over a year).

I assume you got the 107GB from https://userstats.adsl.saix.net/ ?

So in light of this, I went ahead and cancelled my Telkom Line and Data portion by sending an email to [email protected]. (I'm not sure if it is in a state of "getting cancelled" either...)

What I need to know is... since I get transferred from agent to agent and can't really complain about the fact that I have been paying for a 4Mb package while only receiving a 2Mb package, who do I need to talk to so that I can get compensated for their mess?
I don't mind them crediting my account as I have to unfortunately take the voice line with them.

Telkom is seriously working on my tits with their **** throttling. I dont think I even did 80gigs this month and my speed is 30kb.
 
Anyone lose complete internet just now? Went down at midnight on the dot till 24 mins then switched back on? Across all ISPs. Voice line was fine but ADSL was dead to any ISP.
 
Yeah, Durbs. Perhaps related to the massive DDOS happening in the US? Though didn't think there's that many DVR's and CCTV's having the luxurious use of bandwidth here. Strange.

Also in durban, (Amanzimtoti to be precise). Connection came back up now but is as slow AF.

Torrents running at between 0.5 and 1.5kB/s...

Wonder what's up....
 
Also in Durban. Queensburgh area. Went down at exactly midnight and came back stable around 00:30
 
No usage emails for capped accounts Saturday & Sunday ...

Edit: my fault, found them in the Spam.

Should I change from 10mbps softcap 100gb at 699 to 10mbps uncapped at 799? Apparently a promo I just seen via email.

I don't see any difference in performance between TI 10mbs uncapped and their capped accounts on the same line. Doing about 250GB during premium time.
