It maxes my 4mb line, 425kB/s.
If I set it to 1 connection I get 130kB, so I would assume it will do 130 x 5 = 650kB/s.
I'm a little over the middle and they say I'm being managed....

**** - I hate these ****s. Over a week to get back to me only to tell me I can't cancel my line, and then someone else from another department will call me. ALL FOR A ****ING ISP ACCOUNT I CANCELLED IN FEBRUARY - and they're still charging me for it.
Jesus -these ****ers are beyond useless, I can only hope everything associated with the useless government burns to the ground.
Here is where my usage tracking tool sits at the moment: View attachment 107940
I am being throttled to death. Spoke to a supervisor at telkom, tier 2, one of the administrators there and manager of cancellations department. They all confirmed that I am indeed being throttled.
AH Capped accounts are okay, but the uncapped accounts are severely shaped due to IPC shortage, especially in the South.I had the exact opposite last night; Afrihost shyte while Telkom was flying.

Apparently additional capacity will delivered on the 10 April for AH.
Maybe this is true for TI as well?
That's strange.
i wonder if it's not just the telkom staff that can't solve your problem so they say you're throttled.
I go into the orange every month and never notice any form of throttling or shaping.
I also had some issues with AH capped account last week.AH capped account was dog slow last night but Telkom was at least useable.
It's strange.
I've never noticed it... But lately it looks like moderate or average users also get throttled not only power users.
