98GB combined
4Mb uncapped
Usage bar non existent
About 10Gb during peak times, rest during 0h00 and 0h600

Here's the new AUP described in detail - http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/624569-(Urgent)-ADSL-cut-off?p=12886571&viewfull=1#post12886571

... it'll be interesting to see if TI are targeting what they regard as "abusers" and not just reacting to GB's moved.

Sounds like it might be time to leave. Left Mweb because of garbage where "Abusers" = "Users". Sad that the multi-billion Rand companies can't afford data.
Web's running pretty bad in comparison to normal this evening.

I upgraded to the 10mb uncapped in an effort not to be throttled as reading through this thread it seems that they allow a higher threshold for 10mb uncapped accounts.

I've been checking this out for a day but on nntp it never runs faster than 500k per second. Is this normal? On 10mb it should probably run around 900k a second? It runs almost exactly like the 4mb option.

http://speedtest-rba.isdsl.net/ sometimes says the download speed is 800k but now (8pm) it mostly says 300+/- KBytes/s (probably congestion)

Well 10GB a day on a 2mbps line, then people complain about being throttled? I think that's pushing the AUP for basic uncapped.
A power user/abuser should be someone downloading 24/7. If I browse during the day, game after 6/7pm then download from 10PM until 8 or 9AM, I should be in the normal category if common sense prevailed. Say < 150Gb for 2 Meg.

I think Telkom is giving brain damage. Maybe brain cancer

2mb uncapped as well. Did not expect this. Power user at 118gb?

Anything I can do about this? I'm being throttled to 384k speeds :(

EDIT: Looks like I have not been around in awhile, with 100gb being the norm for 2mb accounts. Don't know why I haven't experienced this before but I will be moving to AH as soon as possible.

Are you using a paid news server or SAIX news server?
I get 430kB/s (4mbps line) all day.

^this

Saix doesn't allow sufficient connections to utilize the bandwidth you have.
go for usenetbucket or a similar low cost service; 25 connections will max your line.
