Thanks for explaining Taranis. I don't understand why ISPs like Telkom Internet don't just advertise the accounts for what they are - capped. Surely they would get clients signing up for capped 100gig, 200gig etc. accounts. They would just have a lot less unhappy clients without all the secrecy and false advertising.
Strangely my usage on TItracker jumped from just under 10% Thursday morning to 25% that afternoon with maybe 1 gig used in that time. After it jumped to 25%, my usage outside NightSurfer hours was at 11.5GB for the month (got the info from ranger). Tracker is now still at 25% for the month, so I guess the bar jumps to 25% when you've in fact only reached the 10% mark.
Agreed. Call it a 140GB capped account. That's what it is. After 140GB for the past two months, I have been taken to 384k limits. 2MB line.
