Telkom Internet Capped/Uncapped User Feedback (Pt2)

So this is a bit of a weird one. I use Sickbeard to acquire some viewing content and it automatically searches for any new content of this sort. Yesterday afternoon around half past 4 I was trying to get some new content and kept getting error messages. It kept showing cannot get API on all the News search providers I have added. Most of those News websites could not open as well. Changed over to my back up Webafrica account and everything worked fine and could open those News sites as well. Any explanation for this? :confused:

I am on Telkom 2MBps uncapped since 1 June 2014. From other users experience when can I expect to get throttled by Telkom. My kids have been doing quite a bit of downloading, Chromecast and gaming. By today saix was showing my usage for July at 31GB, so by end of the month I will be around 100GB

That should be more than OK.

You should be fine. Try to scheduled your downloads between 00:00-06:00 as it won't count towards your usage.
 
for the past two days. i have had shocking internet between 6pm and 8pm. Been try to watch the international 4 (Dota 2) tournament and normally have to restart my router multiple times
 
I've had to use my backup Afrihost account between 6pm - 1am for the past 3 days because my uncapped account is either dead slow or completely dead.
