Telkom Internet Capped/Uncapped User Feedback (Pt2)

Also still getting 200+ ping to local gaming servers (other than DGL) and browsing experience is terrible (KZN region). Been like this for days :/
 
Internet is so bad on Telkom Uncapped pages timeout.

TelkomsZA just does not care... last response I got was "everything looks fine our side" and that was it.

So they just dont care. I am now using my FNBconnect account just to post this.

Really Telkom if you dont want customer then let us know....
 
Very sceptical about joining Telkom Uncapped internet, reading their terms and conditions and acceptable user policy carefully..
Telkom does not guarantee the efficiency of the measures available in this clause
5.2.4. The Customer remains responsible for monitoring and controlling his Data Usage and may be charged for out of bundle data where applicable. For customers on uncapped packages, no usage data records will be made available.

If you stay in KZN its cr@p currently. There's IPC capacity issues and Ti is doing pulling the silent treatment on when/if its going to be resolved.

Downloads are about 60% of my total usage so far this month. The rest is mostly streaming which I can't really reschedule. :)

I just had a guy from TI call me. Asked me to upgrade the firmware on my Netgear DGN2200. He says most people having the problems I'm experiencing are related to that with this specific modem. I'm already on the latest firmware, so that ruled that out. Says all is looking fine from their side. Gonna try another router for a couple of days so I can rule that out as being a contributing factor.
