Telkom Internet Capped/Uncapped User Feedback (Pt2)

Also been great after the downtime during the week :). One thing that shocked me was when i spoke with the techie, he said our town will get an upgrade to those beautiful MSAN equipment in 2-3 years, i could've spoke to him for an hour saying how disappointed i was and why we should get it sooner but i let him be :p. I did inform him theres a discussion board called myadsl that we use to inform each other anything telkom related among other things, hopefully he decides to visit :).

Grouter - nice, didn't know your username was linked in that way :D. A beautiful part of the country indeed.
 
Something wrong, my linux updates are coming down at a feeble 15-30KB/s a second.
 
@Meteor, that is really great performance there. :) This should help users take notice if they haven't read the recent posts :p.

@ponder, did your connection get back to normal :wtf: ?
 
TI seem to have been tinkering with QoS again, I was downloading Hirens via torrent just now and noticed I had 65 torrents actively seeding. Stopped and restarted my torrent client (transmission on Fedora 20) and they all started seeding again - most unusual for TI during business hours.

:( Mystery solved, my favourite UK private tracker is closing

It's with a heavy heart that I inform you of the proactive shutdown of zxcv this week. Given the current atmosphere surrounding sharing of commerical (television and the like) content, we're uncomfortable with continuing this site any longer. We are doing free leech as of now and the site will be permanently closed August 1st, 2014. Thank you for many great years and your support.
