Telkom Internet Capped/Uncapped User Feedback (Pt2)

What's that got to do with uncapped?
Night Surfer hours' usage does not count towards your FUP calculation, e.g. it is "free". You schedule the majority of your non-urgent P2P downloads in this time and your usage bar stays in the green and you do not become a throttled victim.

Rebooted PC, rebooted router for these tests. Here are the results.

Highest it ever hit was 80KB/s but mostly averaged 60KB/s

This has improved but it's still not right. Now getting between 150-208KB/s but the traffic is very bursty in nature and fluctuates a lot between those speeds.

Was streaming this fine earlier at 720p https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxBzvziYAdk can't do it now, buffers to hell & gone.

Youtube 720p streaming looks fine now, I even tried some other vids and it's performing great.

Was streaming this fine earlier http://movieshd.co/watch-online/maleficent-2014.html can't do it now, buffers to hell & gone.

This still buffers to hell & gone.
I also tried Vimeo stuff and that also buffers to hell & gone.

Torrents during the day I use to get between 150-208KB/s, fluctuating in that range. This is a test torrent I use with 30k seeders. Now I get sweet nothing!

Torrents are still non-existent, getting 3KB/s max.

So some things seem to have improved while others are still crap.

Whatever you guys are doing keep at it and hopefully it will be A-OK soon.

Thanks for that shedeule info .
my Son is always pausing my downloads .They dont Know about restarting even if you downloading somthing for them:D

Same problem here, browsing is at a crawl, games are unplayable with ping as high as 2000 in most cases. WTF is going on, for the last week i have been noticing very spotty connections too, often dropping for hours at a time.

Hillcrest 4MB line sometimes hitting 100KB/s on local, max 30KB/s on international :( Afrihost/Bitco looking mighty good right now ...

Today seems a bit better than yesterday.
Remoted home from work, and started downloading a new ROM off Mega and it's flying at line speed :D
I haven't seen line speed over the weekend in so long I nearly pissed myself!

Will test the streaming when I'm home and later tonight.
Streaming has been non-existent for me on the weekend, I'm hoping for an improvement.

It looks like Telkom doesn't regard weekends as important and bandwidth is limited like on a weekday.
