Telkom Internet Capped/Uncapped User Feedback (Pt2)

A combination. My normal surfing hardly amounts to much data usage. And all downloads are starting up at 00h10 and ends way before 07h00. But yet my cap is almost done for the month. And last month I exceeded my cap. Something is not right.

I logged onto this new Telkom portal just now. Under Open Connections it shows my log on time as 2h20 four days ago!! So in the last four days my line never went down? And I would guess all activity would have been counted as daily? Or am I confused?

Telkom Internet stopped using RADIUS for usage management in Feb 2013. With our subscriber numbers, the SAIX RADIUS rules (minimum 1 hour interim accounting interval, low limits on how many users may be disconnected per second) made it impractical to use RADIUS-based accounting accurately. Smaller ISPs like Afrihost may still manage ...
 
My telkom internet just stopped connecting. Web Africa is connecting fine. The telkom account is refusing to connect. Anyone else experiencing this?
 
Can someone have a look: getting packet loss - is this from the exchange or after the exchange?

Internet is barely usable.
It has just been getting worse and worse as the months go by.

Can't open anything international now.
 
Just a quick heads up, I am having the same issues on uncapped LTE since about 14:02 today.

Seems to be a Telkom issue overall, not just their ADSL services

My free 1 gig Afrihost account has no issues.
But expensive trelkrom is borken.

International traffic is down, includes Australia where I'm supposed to have a skype call later. All down.

Edit: http traffic looks like DNS has gone mental

Having an issue with a uncapped LTE account, not on site but can't log in remotely using Teamviewer.

From Telkoms twitter account: "We are experiencing system access problems. Data services are affected. We apologise and are working to resolve this ASAP"
 
I'm diagnosing a speed/latency issue for a neighbour who just signed up with Telkom Internet. Are others experiencing this as well?

Speed isn't an issue, because YouTube tests ran just fine, but actual speed tests, browsing, and some HTTP downloads are really, really bad.

I am, some sites does work after loading for a while, some don't.
