Telkom Internet Fibre 2x Data soon?

i am in the process of ordering 40mbs fibre from telkom on web africa's site but my friend on telkom adsl said he is getting double his cap from next month, in fact he said EVERYONE is getting 2x their cap (and apparently it comes with unlimited midnight to 7am data) so id like to know if this applies to Fibre too?

IF you have a telkom softcap account which comes with the Telkom fibre you should also be included. Starting first of this month you should see the double data in the Telkom usage tracker.

It's a promotion which will run from 1st October 2015 to 31 March 2016. Pretty decent. Currently though the night surfer for free data between 00:00 and 7am is a permanent feature and you can use that. You can also see how much data has been used during night surfer in the Telkom usage tracker under the "addons" section.

Confirmed, My Telkomsa account has double the data (and I am on Fibre), from 500GB to 1TB a month

Nice.... That is how it's supposed to be and uncapped between 00:00 and 7am. That is world class internet indeed.
