Well it's a capped product, I doubt they will make any money whatsoever if it was uncapped the entire weekend.

You, and hundreds of thousands of other capped customers. Except for iOS release day and patch Tuesday, our peak network demand is on a Sunday night between 20h00 and 21h00.

Well at least tell us what site you're streaming from. The answers to your questions depend in what site you're streaming from.
 
@ranger Yeah the do Gaming addon is now basically not including anything on PSN on the PS4 anymore. Game patches downloaded and wow now my 50GB softcap usage is 52% and not even 100mb of the do gaming addon usage yet my PS4 downloaded updates to a total of 10GB+ or so. All got deducted from 50GB

Do Gaming addon bought prepaid via top up and router restarted after I bought it.

Better to just remove that option because it does absolutely nothing. You are better off buying a R49 top up of data..... :mad:
 
I'm currently on the 4MB 20GB simple plan, total R499. I want to get the do broadband special but only i i can qualify for the 25% discount, not fussed about the contract period. How do i go about this.

Do i first sign up for the R699 deal then immediately cancel and hope for the 25% discount?

Someone please advise?

That is correct. I called the cancellations department but just asked for the 25% discount never mentioned anything about cancelling dunno maybe were one of the lucky ones. Unfortunately telkom seemed to have messed up my billing and was billed R1000 + have logged disputes so yeah waiting on them know. Hopefully by next month its sorted as Im very happy with the account.

Are you sure you want to mess with a good thing? You'll never be able to go back to Simple Plus if you change, I think...

That is a concern. i have no issues with my 4MB account but 10MB would be so much better. And the extra 30GB will come in handy. I only use my TI account as a backup. But if i can't get the discount i'll be screwed cause i can't afford 699 plus my other ISP costs.
 
Yeah, I'd also like to know...if I upgrade my 4mb line to a 10mb line, does it happen instantaneously or do they have to physically go and change something? Excuse my ignorance.

They don't have to do anything physically at the exchange, the last time i upgraded my line from 2mb to 4mb it took less than 24 hours for the change to take effect

Ok cool, so they just have to do something on their side.

Now to decide whether or not to upgrade...don't really need to...but would be nice
