Torrents have been verratic the last 2 weeks or so.
I'm surprised because this morning my torrents are running like the cops are chasing them :D

torrent.JPG

Yesterday my torrents weren't getting much higher than 40k

I'm very pleased how my torrents downloaded last and I haven't been shaped one bit this month

Uninterrupted downloads on nzb 24/7.

Just saying.

Im having some issues with my NZB's, my schedule kicked in a little after 22:00 last night, and ended at 07:00am this morning, i just connected to my machine, and noticed that i only managed to get a measly 3 Gigs done last night, i usually get (if my line maxes at 204kbps) i get about 7-8 Gigs, but to get a mere 3Gigs right through the night on brand new NZB's, that's not good.... Something must be up?

International seems iffy since Sunday evening. Have noticed Hulu Plus and Netflix buffering and using lower bitrates on my Apple TV since then - on my 10 meg TI uncapped.

I'll monitor - local pings and speed tests are fine so seems limited to international and especially in the evenings.

Something is up. I've got a good nose for TI issues.

This looks like exchange congestion? Is it?

Terrible ping times on hops 7 & 8, which looks to be on the Telkom network as its before the gateway.

Could be wrong tho.

You definetly need Rangers help on this one

Some more speedtests. Pathetic speeds. This is a 4Mb line.

Not sure why this is in the TI Uncapped thread unless you are getting normal speeds when switching to another ISP?

I'm not sure what it is actually. Seems to me it's a combination.

Still not the usual 3.6Mpbs I used to get.

And back to Telkom.

Who is your line with, Afrihost or Telkom?

I'd be inclined to PM TelkomZA in any case if your TI speeds are as consistently bad as you show.

Line is with Telkom. I sent a pm to Ranger, can he not help on this?

When he's available, he recommends using TelkomZA when he's not so you might as well double your chances :)

Log a fault first (if you don't have one outstanding) so that you can provide TelkomZA with a ref no.

For about a month now ive been getting bad latency with Telkom Internet (especially at 6pm to 11pm). I got a second account (mweb account) to see if i get lag and no lag at all. Perfect 20-40 ping in all my games. And with telkom i get 90-300 ping... It cant be congestion can it?

Means everything is going good.... [SSSHHHHHHHH].......

@Telkomza Thanks for the awesome help Charl!
