2 Meg uncapped, I have struggled for the last few days to even browse.
Streaming anything is beyond a joke, starting to get pretty annoyed

Ranger can you tell us anything about the upcoming ADSL2+ 20MB? Will there be trials first? Will the price be the same as VDSL even though it will only be 1MB up?

I am honestly going to shop around for a new ISP, if this is not fixed tonight, I have a important skype call @ 9 tonight.

Why are these accounts so s**t?

It started off wonderfully.

WIth mine, if I try to do a speedtest or download an http file, it's full speed, but any browsing or streaming and it's absolutely useless...........

Streaming 480p on my 2MB Uncapped without any hassles. Managed this 13 minute video without any buffering at all.

Strange that you guys are complaining so badly,do you download a lot on this account, maybe you guys are being shaped.

My 1meg line plays the video above just fine even now during daytime hours @480p with no buffering.

Speedtest.net results in 67ms ping,0.87mbps download and 0.4mbps upload.

Has been like this ever since I got it a few months ago but then again i don't download much and usage is probably under 15gb per month.

At the moment it is not too bad for me.
I had very fast browsing this morning, but had DNS issues my side most of the day, so did not spend time on the Net.

This morning I had "A" quality line for local pingtest.

Normally I have "B" quality line for International, but this latency is better than I normally experience.

Tested torrents and after about 10 minutes the line maxed and i reduced it to 160kB/s and it is currently running at that speed.

I watched the video Shane posted a bit earlier. I watched in 720p with torrents at full speed and had no issues.

I'm close to PE and it seems things are improving for me atm.

Obviously the telkom team is still busy, if you look at the various posts.
I know it can be difficult at time, but these reconfigurations are never easy.
I have faith in Ranger. He has shown over time his worth and commitment to this group.

Seems when mines the slowest it reports as Internet Solutions

4Mb Uncapped/10Mb line

Downloads are a bit sucky right now. Getting around 58kbps (on 2MB Uncapped) while trying to grab a 40mb file off Dropbox. Still streaming fine though.

You cannot assume we have problems because whe are throttled or shaped etc. Just because it works fine for you does not mean it does for the rest of us. I'm not throttled or shaped (never have been as I don't download much) yet I cannot stream anything even at 240p on a 1Mb/s line. It starts streaming and then it just hangs, it does not go any further even if I wait or pause the video.
