If you go work it out:

* I was capped on 90Gb after 19 days of use

I can say with 99.9% confidence you did not have 'service restrictions' applied at 90GB.

Because I was not 100% sure, I sent you a PM about an hour ago asking for your username so I could verify. So far you haven't replied.

Please be aware that I have been motivating for changes to the way the 'service restrictions' are applied, and how 'abuse' is determined, but it takes time to convince product management.

Whats that got to do with people reporting being throttled now?

You said the fact that MKFrost said he was throttled at 90GB (impossible, thresholds are significantly higher) on a 1Mbps account, while MuckeyD did 200GB on a 2Mbps account indicated there had been changes.

But, you aren't comparing apples (1Mbps) to apples, but pears (2Mbps).

No... I said people weren't reporting being throttled two months ago.

@ranger i do apologise about what was said earlier, need anger management A.S.A.P lol,i do hope this meets your approval MickeyD.Really sorry.

Ah. Thanks, missed that on page change.

Great. Another ISP with secret rules which change whenever.

Hopefully they can get damagement to see the light and change their policies.

I don't get it, if they said 400gb on 4mb was abuse, and 800gb on 10mb...then I can decide what I want. But to just say "move to a more expensive product, but we can't tell you what you'll get for it", doesn't work for me

Looks like the "throttling" debate is going to become a monthly item, maybe we should start taking bets on the date it will be first raised in any given month :)

For what it's worth I've been doing an average of 300GB/mth on 4Mbps uncapped since March without ever being throttled (highest was about 340GB).

Id be happy with that. Did that on 2mb. Moved to 4mb and probably doing less.

Its not really aboit how much for me. Just want an account that works when I need it.

My entire house is online.

So if I go buy the cheapest car on the market and the wheels fall of then I should also have expected that?

Sorry but that argument carries no weight. The fact of the matter is that the service, whether cheap or not, was advertised as being unlimited which it is not.

Bad example. The cheap car still works but just can't go as fast.

I think you don't understand how uncapped works. ISPs are forced to increased contention ratios to make the account cheaper. So you have to choose. Cheap account, or good account.

I have to agree. Seems the streaming issues from last month are gone. After hours P2P runs full speed. Only latency to Europe is and issue.

I did 305 Gb on 4 meg uncapped without any issues so far. Orange on TITracker. The account is certainly not the same as before (ie 2012) but it gets the job done.

Lagging quite badly on internation servers when playing Dota 2. Anyone else experienced similar in the last 24hrs?

Yup, switched out with my backup Afrihost account just to be sure, both accounts international sucks ass presently. Netflix is stuttering, imgur loads slow, we're probably looking at a cable break or something equally atrocious.
