What a mission to cancel the TI account. They refused to cancel it because they want to log technical faults first. lol, there is no technical fault on my line/exchange it runs 100% on other ISPs.

Dreading to see what happens, they are probably going all my Telkom products now.
 
TI Tracker Updates

For those who don't read their TI emails it seems a new version of the TI Tracker (and other services) is being introduced on Friday, hopefully more informative than the current green/orange/red bar graph format.

TelkomZA, Ranger, could we please get some high level information as to what has caused the recent network problems for so many ? Thanks in advance.
 
Just checked and it seems the mail only went to TI capped accounts for some reason.

Uncapped. But was capped. And whereas 10210 tell me my profile is correctly recorded as UNcapped, I'm not convinced the *whole of Telkom knows that - so I might be the exception...
 
Yeah wait until tonight. Same pattern for me for last 3 or 4 days. In the daytime line runs at full speed. Come about 5 - 6pm, speeds down to 0.1mbs. No congestion according to tracert. Just speedtest 500ms pings to servers in cape town and a fraction of the line speed. So do what you need to do in the day, cause night time is for twiddling of thumbs. And wifey complaining that netflix doesnt work.

Yeah, she doesnt quite understand it. She just says the tv thing isnt working. Fix it.
And Im like *Nggaarrrrhaaaaaaaa! Telkom. Changing lives. Ruining marriages.
