My P2P speeds at 01:16 AM on a Saturday Morning...

TI uncapped not really P2P friendly for me.
(2 MB DSL Line, 2MB Uncapped Account)

I'm a bit worried about my usage tracker bar going orange/red during my normal monthly use.
Have a look here:
VR9l4Xm.png
This is based on 8 days with a total so far of 72GB. Thus a projected monthly usage of 270GB (I'm on do Uncapped 4mbps):

It should be noted that by far the most of this is from Netflix streaming. I torrent very rarely, and then only between midnight at 6am. Still, the monthly total would still work out to anything between 250GB-300GB.
Should I be worried about orange/red?

EDIT: I do plan on upgrading to 10mbps in November, but bear in mind that that would result in Netflix streaming mostly coming down in HD as opposed to the current SD, so the total usage per month would rise. My guess is that it'd then sit at around 400-500GB per month.

Streaming's been really bad for me here in Cape Town for the last week or so, after hours. Youtube, Netflix, Hulu - all buffer like I was on a 56k connection. It used to stream 1080p without breaking a sweat, now I can't even watch anything online. Has something changed?

NNTP downloads still fly, and streaming during the day is fine.

I take it back - streaming is just as crap this morning. NNTP still 100%.

Agreed, not sure what is going on down here in the Cape but something somewhere is seriously wrong with the routing or something. I keep on hitting what I termed dead spots... i.e. everything just stops dead and hangs... browsers just spins its little 'waiting' icon and so it hangs.....

Once started this can go on for easily 5 minutes at a time. Browser pages time out, speed tests fails, other apps report connection problems, windows shows the little yellow exclamation mark over the connection icon etc....etc..........

Seriously though.... my line works just fine for around 70/80% of the time where it works as it should [even though my max speed ever on it has only been around 70% of what it should be], BUT then there is that other 20 to 30% of the time where one feels like chucking the PC router and everything else out the window.

I'm am seriously thinking that Telkom should be forced to place health warnings on all is products and or services. If they do another study on the causes of cardiac arrest they should be sure to include Telkom in there and also to place it near the top. I'm sure companies like Telkom, Eskom etc.. contribute in a big way to the annual cardiac arrest deaths in this country.

Okay, a bit tongue in cheek there but seriously though.... What the hell is wrong Telkom.... why this on/off/on/off problems. Been going on for more than 2 months already....

Oh come on guys, you can download a whole flipping movie on telkom in the blink of an eye, what are you whinging about? Not enough for you? :p

Cricket streaming via Superport working like a Boss atm.

Edit:
...and 20 minutes later Supersport.com has gone AWOL.

This, I have the exact same issue, thought it was the dns. But occasionally large http downloads (most recently my Galaxy Tab ROM, 700MB) fail due to "unknown network error" it's annoying as hell.

Get this all the time on playstation network, and other large files..... :(

Got my 4Mb package activated today. Torrents, NNTP, HTTP and Youtube all performing awesome. My SNR is a bit on the low side but that doesn't seem to have an adverse effect on my performance.

Downloading a driver, 9400GT driver from Nvidia at a constant 27kB/s?
Browsing of MyBB very slow.
Anybody else?

Apologies TI.
Driver speed is pc related.
Browsing on MyBroadband is still slow, but seems to be only MyBB for me.
