I think you right on that hey, if I recall ranger specifically mentions changes meant to happen Tuesday or something?

I pray these changes fix whatevers not right. I just want my Ti back to how it was before, super speed all day regardless of the time of day or protocol

I'm not sure what it is with Telkom. I have posted before and don't even want to waste my time doing so again but it just gets so frustrating.

Line has been running just fine all week and since this morning its as near as dead as can be. I get around 250ms ping to local servers and my speed maxes out at around 1 to 1.5Mbps on a 4Meg line. Browser pages, like MyBB, just time out. My other software keeps on bi***hing about no server connection and keeps on disconnecting.

I guess from around 5 today I can again just flip the switch and rather go out for the evening as I know my line will be even less than useless until around midnight.

I'm aware of that, though comparing it to bundled deals from AH, Cybersmart, etc it's really not that great.

Had this last night, but sadly it was the same on my backup account with AH. It's bull**** that we NEED to have backup accounts :/

Problem still not fixed......torrents were running at less than half line speed last night.
I'm assuming this is due to the upgrades taking place.
TI has been awesome so far so Im confident that whatever problems that we are experiencing will be fixed and things will be running like a steam train once again.
For those wanting to jump ship all I can say is "Bon Voyage"

I was referring to 1mb uncapped bundles:

R329 = 199 + 165 - 35

AH is R297 and CS is R295. Also that's not really a fair comparison considering neither of the two ISPs have taken new 2mb pricing into consideration yet.

How can you say this?
They have hinted at discounts but not implemented a thing.
Therefore at this current time Telkom is cheaper.

Hey Electric, i gave Usenet another chance last night, and yet again, 3 of my NZB downloads failed, talking about blocks missing again... So, ja, im not going to use usenet.... While on that note, anybody want a Usenet Trial account (Valid for another 6 Days still) Drop me a PM.

I'm assuming this is due to the upgrades taking place.

On another note, i felt something similar last night, at about 22:00 my NNTP downloads resumed (as per my schedule) but it was not running so smoothly, it was all over the place, so im also being very optimistic and saying that it must be the Upgrades taking place....

That's a pity.
I thought it would have made a difference.
Have you tried downloading the par headers and trying to just repair the broken d/l with Quickpar?
