This "international links are having issues" explanation doesn't work for me. I am (and many others are) having issues to LOCAL servers too (600ms+ pings, download speeds below 1mbps, etc).

I use the same Unotelly DNS settings though (cape town primary, London secondary) and it flies on Afrihost.

TI crawls. Changing primary Unotelly DNS to their (newer) JHB server has no effect.

Those who have great speeds clearly aren't going via Cape Town or using Unotelly, that's for sure.

What worried me how can one link have a regular ping of 200plus (basically normal and the other 700plus. I have tested them repeatedly and someone at Telkom should be fired. Its almost as if and I hate to say it but like somone has not paid peering fees?

When gaming - eu servers: 178ms on my afrihost 1gig, 780ms on trelkrom.
