Telkom LIT Android media box - Tips/Tricks/Apps thread

Can't seem to play AC3 audio on MXPLAYER when using terrarium even the ARM7 NEON codec doesn't work when enabled. Any suggestions welcomed.
 
So picked up mine, finally found stock. But they did not have any with the A07 serial. Helpful lady looked at every box for me. She said that they did have those serials but they took that whole batch away and sent them these.

Anyways not a deal breaker for me so I pickup up the one with the A06 serial.

So will start pulling my hair out tmrw, getting everything to work. Can’t wait
 
Where did you manage to find stock? I’ve been looking all around in the GP area. Thanks

Many thanks! Just got one at forest hill. At first they didn't want to sell, only free with one of those 50/100 deals. After saying I will phone Telkom on their behalf the store agent said he will ask his manager who said it's OK to sell it.

A06 or A07? Report back on blueness of teeth if it's an 06 pls
 
How do I know if it has bluetooth? Only thing I see in settings is the ability to add accessories which has a bluetooth icon, but I dont see it anywhere else.

Did you do the quick setup using an Android phone? I think that requires BT to work.

Alternatively, look at the device info screen that has mac addresses, serial number etc on it. Should show a bluetooth address.

Ok it does not have BT.

Still happy with it.

Yeah it's a nifty device. I'm super impressed apart from the lack of BT which I was going to use for a keyboard.
 
So if it shows a bluetooth address and has the A07, it has bluetooth?
 
Having the LIT box for more than a month now and with the help of the threads, it is actually a capable little media player. With a 32Gb memory card in, computer stays off.
 
Can anyone tell me what memory card it takes. I’m nit at home and need to buy one now. I need the size, type etc. at the mall already
