I'm sure that they will somehow receive the info. The question is will sdmc fix it nice and quickly?

Have you had any joy in mapping additional keys? Like, I used to use blue to show codec info, and the info button to change subtitles? The kodi keymap editor isn't catching the keystrokes

When checking the Screen saver settings, it was amusing to say the least, it said:

"start screensaver after inactivity"
I assume it used to say
"start screensaver after 2 hours inactivity"

Over the network. Just get the IP address from the box's network info.

To enable debugging, I had to click multiple times on about or something. I was then able to enable ADB.

Edit:

Correction. Look at http://corochann.com/how-to-enable-developer-mode-in-android-tv-216.html
In about, go to "build" and click 7 times. Then developer mode become available where you can enable debugging. Then you can ADB over the LAN or Wifi.

I also sideload apps using ADB, its much easier than downloading the APK on the Lit box.

Haven't tried to map custom keys, I used to have the context menu. But on my HTPC I could send a whole keyboard's keys to IR. This is more restricted, so I will have to look what is available in remote.conf ect to see what we can bind.
 
After resetting the box. Installing Netflix, I still can’t play video, only sound, error 5.2. Dnt have time to dig around yet.

You will see: (1st col is IR code, 2nd col is Android code used in Vendor_0001_Product_0001)
0x58 115 # volum up

But then the Android part that convert that to key inputs: Vendor_0001_Product_0001.kl @ https://pastebin.com/pgeevAaS

key 115 VOLUME_UP
key 114 VOLUME_DOWN

key 109 VOLUME_DOWN

So that unfortunately is how its going to be, unless you get Nology to escalate that to SDMC.

how did you come to the conclusion that that's the .kl file it refers to? Mine has quite a few different ones.

Out of interest sake, what do you have the box plugged in to? TV? Specific type of TV? Or through a HDMI converter or AVR? It may be the problem.

Have you changed any settings on the AVR on what it reports its capabilities as? I once made the mistake of letting my AVR passthrough the TV information to downstream HDMI device, broke my sound but not my video.

So in this case I may be wrong and the AVR is not relevant. Personally I don't use Netflix, just that 5.2 error cant play video is either to do with the above or something netflix specific, but they wont say what. I was thinking netflix may block video on devices that report recording capabilities but thats a guess only.
 
remote.conf has a bunch of other available keys in it, have asked logitech if they can map them in the harmony software.
eg - number keys - could then make page up send 1 and use mkr to catch 1 and convert it to the real page up....

Those are already there I believe. In the android app, you can see all the keys available if you control a device specific instead of an activity. I have all of the 0-9 keys there. Just didnt test them, but they should work.

But I don't recall seeing them in the myharmony app to map to remote buttons.

Will look again tomorrow

It doesn't but it has a touchscreen that can show the numbers. But I was talking about the available buttons on the tvb100 when you are defining stuff in my harmony

Maybe try it on the PC app, I believe mine was very different vs the MyHarmony android app.
