That, I think, is a tall ask, on an Android box.
Why? I use Apple Music on my Android phone just fine.

The latest DSTVNow app is the best.
It updated itself when I switched on my Lit yesterday.

Streams not HD though. Or if it is classified as "HD", its not close to the HD satelite quality.

Some of the streams are definitely HD, you can clearly see it, especially on the Sport channels. That said, the dish quality is most definitely better, at least a much higher bit rate for when there is lots of action.
2.5Mbit/sec is not really doing it for the HD streams

Heh? It doesn’t have Airplay.
And the Android version of Apple Music is pretty much identical to iOS.
Surely one can sideload it?

That app version (1.42.4) is the same one that has been on the playstore recently. Doesn't look like it's an 'android TV' app.
I was thinking they were going to launch an entire new app dedicated to android TV. The only changes I see on that version is the max video quality being increased to 1.7Gb per hour. Still doesn't make much difference on picture quality. Sports channels are still blurry. Supersport 1 is the only decent quality one for some reason.

No issues with DSTV Now. HD quality over LTE.

I think the app actually looks different when running on Android TV vs normal Android. Does for me at least.
Also, there is no thing to limit the usage per hour on Android TV. SuperSport 1,2,3,4 and 8 for me so far is definitely all HD.

Of course it does, you just need to install a 3rd party app. I use Airplay from Apple Music on my phone each day to play music through my AVR (connected to my LIT)

HD yes compared to the previous ****ty 240p but their "HD" bit-rate is still piss poor.
My guess is that they cant handle the upstream demand in peak times.
Oh ok, I wasn't aware it appears different. I'm currently using a different android TV box and saw that the version was the same as that of the android mobile version. I've been hoping for an android TV version for so long. Hopefully it will be available to download as an apk that we can sideload because the android mobile version isnt great. If anyone manages to find an apk of the android TV version please share it. It would really be appreciated.

I would also love to use the Android TV remote app. But unfortunately on the iOS one the trackpad is non functional and there is no button to switch the box on and off.
Luckily I am not having similar issues with my AirMouse in the 3 weeks I got the LIT_ box
