I'm planning on getting the Telkom lit box later today... Can you guys just give me some advice before I go ahead...
Should I only get the A07 serial number version (just to be safe due to all the different issues like Bluetooth and OS difference)?
Does the box support ShowBox? YouTube android TV version?
Im also wanting it due to the DStv android TV version, which is one of the main reasons I want to get this box after reading that the clarity is way better than the mobile Android version from our previous posts.

No OS difference, just Bluetooth and 5ghz wifi.
Tried to update my LIT box Dstv now app to latest version. I see we dont have to sideload anymore. Anyway when i sign in and try run new app it says authorisation error. I thought it would detect it is the same box. Anyway i dont want to remove device as that would leave me only 1 more time for the next 6 months....any suggestions?

Do these boxes work properly with Showbox , Kodi movie and series and Mobdro . My old android box has not been great recently with these channels .

I think they're just running on stock. OS 'issues' were sorted about 7 weeks back
they might be releasing an update to the OS any time soon.. so maybe applying the new version to those currently in stock
Got my box today... A07. Everything is running like it should. Quite happy thus far. I tried to get the Google assistant to work by pairing a pair of wireless headphones which also have a microphone but still didn't work. Seems a pretty dumb feature to have when we can't use it.
I noticed on the thread the how-to on disabling the screen saver. I found a much easier route, seems to be working. I don't like the standard launcher the box comes with, I prefer TV launcher. So I installed it, and under that launcher, I went to settings and disabled screen saver. I also discovered that the settings menu in the main launcher crashes. I have found that if I reboot the box, and give it a few minutes before using it, when I enter settings it then works smoothly. If I rush into settings as soon as the box boots up, it crashes. I presume the OS is loading things in the background etc so by giving it time to complete it's processes it allows for seamless operation.
The DStv app is soo much better than the native android version. The picture quality is much better. I would say it's identical to the stream you get when watching DStv now via laptop browser. 2.5mb max, but still good to watch. Some improvements can be made with the layout of the app, I'm sure with time it will get even better.
Is there an app I can download that I can control the box from my mobile phone? I see on the setup instructions that come with the box state how to get the app, but I've got no idea if that's just a generic template that was printed.

I mean that the reason they have no stock, is not the OS reason they're telling people. That reason has long gone.
They've simply sold out of units.

The Netflix version I'm using is the one provided in the OP of this thread. It's the modded APK which plays 1080p.
