Telkom LTE Data Theft

Im on LTE SmartBroadband50 contract. Last month I needed more data so I have purchased 40Gb once off data that suppose to expire on 13th of Mach ( 19Gb left). Now 1st of March I have received my monthly 50Gb of data. So I want to use the data that expires on 13th of March before it expires but the data is being deducted from the 50Gb that suppose to last whole month. I have called Telkom call centre and they said I have to first waste the 50 Gb of data that expires at the end of March before I can access the data that expires on 13th of March. Now this f.... ridiculous. Who the hell designed this system?, Mickey Mouse or Tom & Jerry? I have asked for refund but no success.
I have paid for that data so I want to be able to use it before it expires.
Is there somebody out there that had the same experience or can advice me where to go or who to contact as Im not planing to leave it even if it has to go to the court.
Im gatvol being taken for a papa oscar echo sierra by this thieving Telkom.

Yeah, definitely a Telkom "issue"...Vodacom lets you use up the data that is close to expiring if you have bought multiple bundles on different dates. So Telkom definitely pulling a fast one here.
 
Are you sure it expires then? All Telkom data I have ever bought only expired at the end of the next calendar month.

Which data bundle type did you buy? :confused:

As far as I can see they do not have a 40GB bundle (unless the 20GB comes with 20GB night)?

That LTE/LTE-A menu only appears on LTE only sims - I have the uncapped bundle so have never bought an add-on bundle in that sim.

Standard sims do not have that menu option.
