Telkom LTE Speeds in rustenburg???

Hi, anyone from Rustenburg can you please share Telkom LTE Speeds Here.

Or any other city that's not JHB or PTA. I want to see the speeds in other cities/towns.

Im looking to get the uncapped LTE promotion this month to get away from our nice 2mbps adsl!
 
Did a vodacom speed test on 2 bars 4G -
43ms ping
8.2 mbps down
2.1 mbps up

will telkom be similar/better/worse??
 
Did some tests at my cousins place in Cashan. Was decent once we found the signal. Was on the edge so the router had to be placed upstairs to lock on. Will check if I can find the results.
 
Geelhout Park Rustenburg.
In the evenings. 7.15 down - 4.5 up
During the day and early morning 50-60 down - 8 up
Very happy with it. Was on ADSL. Max was 4 in our area.

Thanks... i hope its good at my place too(Cashan)... their coverage map says our house is in the center of a coverage area, but were near a mountain so i hope we can get better speeds than our max 2mbps!!

Hope you can get me those speedtests!(prev post)
 
Sorry bud checked my history but can't find it. Best to test a prepaid sim with a lte router.

Staying in Safarituine...

Speed test until 1 1/2 weeks ago was 40 - 50 during peak and 70mb "after hours". Over the last week it has been <5 - ANY TIME OF DAY. Been trying to get Telkom to check the base station...

Anyone else from Safarituine who can share their speeds?

P.S I'm using a Poynting Antenna - made a massive difference.

if anything my speed has improved over the last few weeks. Esp. in the evenings. We watch a lot of Showmax and we used to get a lot of 'interruptions' i.e. picture breakup etc. But lately this has dissappeared.
I doubt that we are on the same base station though. Possibly you might want to have a look if your antenna has not moved?

I think we have different base stations. Mine is near Safari Spar... I can see it from my house. My signal quality is still at 100% (My router only shows signal strength, not dbm) and the antenna is still fine...

My ping is at 40, DL = 4, UL = 8-9

Yes our tower is up on the hill overlooking Geelhout Park.
I hope you get srted soon..
 
Anybody can share Speed Test results with Rain network in Rustenburg ?
