Is it really 599??

Just got my first bill and it requires clarity. Nothing in the terms refers to added on device payment. Sales consultant also did not mention it. I also asked for no CLI as I will not need VOIP and so on.

Break down of my bill:

Is anyone else getting the same kind of service and paying about the same?

So apparently the 599 in credited back to you after the first billed month.
CLI even when u say NO you need to log a case, wait 72 hours and then only will they take it off.
from the looks of it month 1 = big cost, month 2=cost agreed + the holding payment.

Is like to hear from others whether their initial R599 was ever refunded?

Mine was debited in 1st week of November '15. Service was activated in last week of November' 15. Haven't received R599 refund yet. Though this is what the consultant told me would happen whilst signing up in first week of November '15...

Hey, I've had this deal since Oct. My R599 was only refunded after the second month. Also I had to call to cancel the CLI fee. Only after that, then it came too R599.

Howsit, yeah mine aswel had this deal activated since the the 12 of October my first debit order was R1063.00 at the end of Nov pro data and what what, my bill for Dec was exactly R599.00 which did not go off as I was credited my initial R599.00

If you dont intend on using VOIP i think CLI can be cancelled. And if u do you can re-activate it at a later stage.

Yes so from what they told me
1) 559 to "test the debit"
2) 1st Full month bill + Pro bill
3) refund + bill + CLI(if u have it)
4) ~599 excluding CLI

Just take note the device is not pro-rata its the full bill.
