We have a Telkom Mobile LTE router. We used to get speeds of 10-20mb/s (sometimes 30). Now we are averaging 0.5-2.5.
As bad as it was when we eventually gave up on ADSL.
So whats the deal? Are they oversubscribed and congested?

Restart the router.. Try the sim in a phone and do speed test. Or what cavedog mentioned

What does putting the sim in a phone do?

It may give a scewed result since the router is plugged into an aerial on the roof.

My LTE is slow as well here in Lichtenburg i'm getting quite awkward speeds.
