As some of you may have found, whenever you need information on a deal, they only advertise half of it and unclear.
Now the Telkom Mix deal actually looks pretty good. I am considering switching from the Closer 3 plan to this. What is unclear though is the conditions of the "R250 monthly 8.ta airtime". Can it only be used for 8.ta to 8.ta/Telkom calls or to any SP you wish. Comparing this to the Closer 3 plan you lose 1300 standard time minutes(only to national landlines), discount on certain international calls and per second billing. Since everybody has cellphones, we have long since disabled outgoing cell calls. By switching I gain a Blackberry with BIS and R250 monthly(which would normally on a Cell SP cost R250 for a contract with a free BB and R250 airtime where after you have to add something like R49 for BIS) and R33 on my monthly subscription! So basically on this deal your getting your line rental (R139.97) for free (and unlimited landline callmore calls which probably doesnt cost allot). My conclusion is that if the "R250 monthly 8.ta airtime" is "normal airtime", then this is your solution if your looking for naked ADSL! Does any one have this special? What is your experience with 8.ta as Cellular SP?

Has anybody signed up for this deal? Only R299 for a landline with closer, BB8520, BIS and R250 8ta airtime. Seems too good to be true. Here's a full page link.

EDIT: Is CLI and itemised billing included in the R299?

I am actually in the process to probably sign up for this package but their isn't enough clarity on the above mentioned package but I would wait before signing on the dotted line maybe some new bundles come into effect very soon. Just doesn't mention what closer plan and how many minutes are allowed.
