i would just like to take the opportunity to state a complain about my telkom mobile account. In December of 2015 i opened a cell phone contract at a telkom shop in Cape Town. As i was not happy with the device i returned it and cancelled the contract.
On the morning of the 26th of January the amount of R5491.67 were debited from my account as a stop order. i phoned into the call centre and explained my case. the agent whom i spoke to told me that the money will be paid back into my account in 7 working days.
It has now been two weeks since I've logged my case. I have phoned several times and i was put on hold for more than 10 minutes on every call. The agents there have promised me call back on 2 occasions but this never happened. Ive requested to speak to senior members and was always told that the team leaders are busy. could not help but feel that they tried to avoid an escalation.
On the other i am unable to pay of my monthly debt. i Was phoned more than once telling me that i will be handed over to the lawyers if i do not make an payments. i have come to the point where i feel i will take legal action against telkom mobile.
