Telkom Mobile billing problem explained

I can confirm the R100 credit but still waiting for the extra 5GB gesture. Overall I am satisfied with TM services.
 
Pitty TM's home network is offline more than it is online in our area, the base station is faulty and no one cares, my wallet does not care either, canceled my 3 contracts on Monday. I can't roam on MTN with them so no point in having them if you can't use them.
 
Wish Telkom would be so giving on my side... ADSL lines stolen in the area. Still no Afrihost ADSL connection
Been more than a week now, Telkom just shows middle finger on queries when it will be fixed.
They actually came to put new cables 2 days ago, but not complete as still not working.
No "here, have free HSPA connection on us, while we take our time to restore the lines" :(
 
Waiting for someone to moan about this. I think in this particular case, they have done really well. they made a mistake, acknowledged it, and are giving back to the customers.

Someone already complained in the comments section below the article.
 
TM charged me the correct amount after I extended my contract. However, I am sorry they never made a mistake with my account - the extra 5GB could have come in handy

Great service from TM. I was notified of this billing error by SMS to my normal phone and to my 8.ta sim.

The 5GB has already been credited. Logging in to my account through the TM portal or onnet.8ta.com, I see the following:
