Telkom Mobile’s claim that it offers “prepaid data that doesn’t expire after 30 days” challenged in ASA complaint

Telkom should be forced to advertise that the data expires rather than simply not saying anything.

I don't get the point of ASA, all that seems to happen is a change in advert, and you get off scott free, no matter how much you made ripping people off with deception.

The ASA has a long standing principle where it accepts an undertaking to stop using the advertisement without considering the merits of the matter.

ASA has a longstanding lack of principles. Companies who violate the ASA regs should be penalised for doing so regardless of whether or not the company has pulled the advertisement because they benefited.
