Telkom Mobile here to impress SIM-Sonke

I got a response from callcentre saying data bundle will be available soon on sim-sonke..... I see they did already add the blackberry to sim-sonke cause it was not there at launch

Thanks guys I think 8ta will then suit my needs better.

Haven't been paying much attention to Telkom as of lately but did notice that data bundles are available now.

In this regard I would like to know if it is possible to change from existing 8ta package/tariff-plan to SimsONKE

@superman89 talking about coverage, was disappointed that at The Glen mall it's zero bars/no signal at all on Telkom Mobile network only, they should get coverage there. Hopefully they will be covered by 2015, have noticed in small towns Telkom Mobile works.

Sim Sonke 7 days unlimited all day calls to other Sim Sonke for R20....

or R5 for 1 day unlimited

Also R150 for 1 month unlimited calls to all telkom mobile numbers and R30 for 1 month unlimited calls to 1 landline number....

VAS(Value-added service) promotion is freaking confusing was under the impression it included telkom landline numbers just imagine that :)

I am not much ARPU(average revenue per user), don't use my smartphone to call anyone, use communication such as WeChat/WhatsApp

@ TM rep,

Can I change to Sim-sonke from the old original R1.50 8ta prepaid price plan? And will I lose my "first million subscribers" free minute for every 3 minutes of received calls benefit?

Yes you can change I think but you will lose that benefit

Since SIM-SONKE is now allowing data and sms bundles (and MTN roaming), does anyone know how long does a bundle last before it expires? I have search everywhere but did not find anything.
In particular the "All-Network" data bundles as I will roam on MTN if I were to use it.

It is in T&C. It lasts to the end of next month. One - up to two months, depends when you purchase it.

Hi BravoFox

The bundles expires at the end of the next calender month from the day of activation. If you activate the bundles today they will still expire at the end of March 2014. It is always advisable to buy the bundles on the 1st of the month so that they last the whole two months.

Even cheaper with the new unlimited day call offer on promotion convert R20 receive 7 days free calls to other telkom mobile users. 4 x R20 = R80 a month. :)

Thanks for the the answer. I was searching in the Sim-Sonke Terms and Conditions and not the Prepaid bundle terms and conditions :)
