I want to buy a Internet starter pack from Telkom Mobile at the Brooklyn mall. Last time I went there they said they do not have stock. So today I want to go again, but I first want to phone to here if they have stock. I look on their web site for a phone number and this the is the message I receive "Please Note that no Landline services are available in this store"

How can Telkom do business without a phone:rolleyes:

I did phone 10210, but did not get any help from them.

That only means that it is a TM store and not a Telkom (full) store.....so landline services are not provided there. It is probably being run by a 3rd party on contract
 
that's been the practice for years already. mtn is the same. you cannot call them on their landlines. those starter packs are everywhere though. got one at edgars. took 5 minutes to rica at a Telkom shop.
 
A simple google search showed their number.



Just called them got through immediately

How would the average customer find your page? The page I found was on their website under store location. If they state they do not have a landline why would I go and do a google search? Why would you want to make it difficult for your customers to do business with you? It just does not make any sense. Not even sure why you are trying to defend them.

They said that store doesn't have landline services. Considering Telkom is a mobile and landline services provider, they thought it would be clear.

I am only 'defending them' until KingRob comes back and the title of your post was a bit misleading.

He got pissed off at Frontosa and Postman Pat over some RMA issue (I think) and the issue started spilling over into other threads. Full retard was in the 'coming soon' stage.

He recovered enough to 'resign' from Mybb....but I thought it was a temp. cool off thing. But he hasn't come back :(
