I want to do a sim swap for a nano simcard and want to find out if you must pay a fee and can you do a sim swop at their Telkom Direct store?

You can do Sim Swap at any Telkom Direct Store for Free.

So TM isn't like the other networks where you can just buy a prepaid sim for 99c and do the sim swop yourself?

That's what I would like to know as well. I'm needing to do the same thing after going over to an android phone and realising I need a mini sim. The other problem is will they do the sim swap for me as I am deaf and I can't make phone calls.

I just confirmed with a Telkom Mobile agent via an Online-chat. The agent says Telkom Mobile Sim Swaps can only be perfomed at a Telkom Shop currently and not in any other way unfortunately.
