Telkom Multisim Datashare

Hi

I see that Telkom is offering this option on quite a few of their LTE deals, anyone know how this works, how much of data can be shared between the number of sims.

As far as I know, all the sims linked will share the full data allocated and you cannot limit the data used per sim. I have 4 sims linked to one of my deals.

Telkom used to offer up to 9 additional multi sims. Now I see they only offerring 2 extra sims.

Heya, my family and I have this multi SIM service activated.
60 GB day / 60 GB night on the data SIM card. We have 4 SIMs linked to the main SIM with the data, each SIM share all the data of the primary SIM.

EDIT: Things to keep in mind, the 4 SIMs that were added were all prepaid SIMs. When we added them to the main SIM all 4 SIMs changed to contract SIMs, no caller ID showed up on all 4 SIMs when someone called, and we could not buy airtime on each SIM even the main data SIM. (airtime to buy voice minutes)
So, to fix this, we called Telkom and activated "clip" (caller line identification presentation) on each SIM (costs extra of course), for the airtime problem Telkom told us we must add a spending limit for the main SIM. We added a R200 spending limit I bought 50 min all net voice for R30 and the 50-min voice was available on all 5 SIMs to use, R170 left of the spending limit.

It was a hassle to get it working, but it is working nicely now. Telkom suggested that we must look at "Free me share" as an alternative, if this does not work out.

Why do Telkom not allow Multi Sims on their 2 TB package. If you buying a Fixed amount, you cannot abuse the system and you have the right to use it as you wish. I currently have the 330G +330G on 5 Sim cards and i wish to upgrade. I understand with uncapped being open to abuse, but a fixed amount ,Come on Telkom.

im trying to find out which is the BEST data deal at the moment. So many BAD options, some are long contracts, currently the MTN 100GB 10mbps LTE seems the 'best' as its month to month
