Telkom not capping.

Telkom is not capping me, should I be worried about getting a hefty bill at the end of the month??? :erm:

This gets asked all the time! It has happend so many times and I never got billed before! I have used 11.3GB on my 3GB account so far! Login to tracker. If you see the connection under blended then you can use it. They WON'T BILL YOU!

However if its under local and you exceed your local usage like 10GB/20GB/30GB you will be charged R15 per GB. Still a bargain.

The weird part was that I was capped for the last 3 days and not anymore.

Yes happens a lot with telkom accounts! They can't charge you cause people will sue them. Cause they don't split local and international a guy could argue that "I wanted to us local since I was capped but telkom forced a international connection to me"

A valid argument! :)

Ohh and use it while you can cause it won't last very long. Won't be surprised if it gets fixed during the night. However it started this morning at 11am and still going!
 
Mine is also working now(was capped)... they will prob fix tomorrow so on go the downloads!
 
Wow I thought they will fix it through the night. Obviously not. Cause this morning my torrents has downloaded 14.5GB and uploaded 2GB. My TI usage tracker reports I have used 23.2GB blended usage. LOL!

Telkom :0 Users abusing them :1

If they don't fix it by 8am then that is when shaping comes in and torrents will be slowed to about 30kbs. :sick: So then its to usenet!
 
maybe TELKOM is gone uncapped as well,just forgot to make announcement.....???
 
Still downloading. Very slow on torrents though now!

23kbs download and 56kbs upload. USENET time! Still going strong. I just can't believe that they didn't fix it yet!
 
That’s why I’ve got RAPIDSHRE. Still downloading at 415kbs
