Telkom Online orders?

They said they will call me back when I placed my order online.

What happens now?
They didn't give us lots of information...
 
Its a lucky packet, they may or may not call you. And if you miss the call, sorry for you, you will never get the call again and you can't call the number back either..

Its a disaster.
 
I signed up with Telkom earlier this year, and boy do I regret doing that.

Took them 6 weeks to activate my connection, despite my several follow ups and calls.
They still billed me for usage during those 6 weeks, even though the connection was not set up.

Been fighting with their accounts department to refund me, and they refuse to do so.

One word of caution, Stay away from Telkom! Dont let those cheaper prices fool you, when you run into problems, thats where they catch you.

Ordered the Uncapped LTE promotion for R599 from them a few weeks ago.... Haven't been able to process the order, so end of last week I went into the Telkom store and luckily met the LTE Specialist.

He did my application for me and used his contacts to process the app, I was approved earlier today, just awaiting delivery now.

TL;DR: The online system is useless.
 
Telkom never calls back ,you call them :P

They never called me on 599 deal ,had to call them.
 
Also been waiting 6 weeks and no call back from the website. So I went in with 3 months Bank Statements, ID and proof res, filled in all the forms, went back a week later, no one knows a thing about my application, even though I asked for a copy of the form. Left after an hour of waiting for someone to pull the finger out their a$$. Very poor show is putting things mildly.
 
Still waiting for a month despite in contact with them on Facebook. Uncapped lte deal
 
I have been waiting a month as well. Been to a telkom store 4 times regarding it. They have escalated the query , they have sent me sms's promising me they would call back within 24hrs , I even have the branch managers email and telephone number now. All I can say is STAY AWAY.
