Telkom / Openserve download speed question

I have 250/250 but got upgraded by Telkom last week to 500/250.

Problem is my speed remains 250/250.

I have have spoken to Telkom a few times now and they say the upgrade was done. It seems they cannot figure out what the problem is.

My ONT is a couple months old, basically new, and I have an Asus RT-AC68U router.

What might be causing this? Why aren't I getting that 500 down? Any suggestions?

Did you connect your device to an ethernet port on the router and do the test. Wired is best for testing true line speed.

Your wireless device may have a limitation.
