This new TV ad for Telkom about all these prizes.

So I entered and obviously not thinking much of it.

I just received a call saying that I have won a prize. They confirmed everything and ask if I mind my name appearing on the winners ads that cycle. I know its on a scam cause they read all my details that I have submitted when I made the call entry.

So I won a prize. Pretty decent. :D But they couldn't tel me which prize. There are 2 departments. 1 confirms all the details and delivering address and 2 does the prize selection and sends it via courier.

Any 1 have a link to what prizes can be won. I hope its Worlds Cup tickets. That would be awesome! Cause all SA matches are sold out. :D
 
I will wait and post when/if I get a prize. It would be nice. but if I don't get anything I don't care.
 
So I got my prize in April. It was a cordless phone worth R1000. So it was decent since it was better than the phone I had and it was free. So I took a chance and entered again.

I received a call today saying I have Won ANOTHER prize. Its a Sony Flat screen TV. So yes she confirmed my details from my Telkom account [which she already had] and requested that I send a copy of my TV license. So I'm rolling in the Telkom prizes people. All the money I paid Telkom its about time. :)

Well Done cDog, i think it was well deserved :). Anyone else with a similar story care to share over here.

Oh yeah, how did you enter as i would like to try and with the same mindset, i don't care if i don't get anything :)

April I won a R2000 adidas voucher. This month a PS3.

ive also entered now, but usually never win anything so hope i'm lucky this time

This sounds sweet, need to get some action on these prices... need a nice Sony surround sound home theater system! Must I just phone "2010" from my landline?

yip... 2010 and follow the voice prompts.
 
Yes just dial "2010" on the land line it will ask for your name and surname......

I also never win anything. Then in Feb I won like R500 MTN airtime. Then the phone and now TV. :)
 
I won adidas vouchers worth R2000, first thing I ever won in me life. She told me it would take 8 weeks for me to get it, I told her that's after the world cup, she paused n then said that's the max cos they overloaded with deliveries. Asked her to change the prize to the TV, she laughed saying prizes are not transferrable. I'm trying to figure out a way to get it exchanged for cash...
 
I entered now to see what happens. I got my Telkom line and ADSL this month (do2) so see if those entries make a difference. Must say that I've one quiet a few prizes this year too (myBB, Telkom DSL, SA Pork)
