Telkom Router blocks Gmail??

2 of my friends are using Telkom wifi routers, one is premium combo,another one is mega100(something like that). Gmail just is not working in Outlook and other email clients.

Strange, my friend (who is also using a Telkom Router) can access Gmail with no problems?

Check that remote port 995 is accessible through the router firewall and PC firewall. Gmail uses POP over SSL.
