The firmware for Telkom routers are specifically designed for Telkom and won't often be found on other routers.

It might void the warranty of the router if you use non Telkom firmware.

IMO don't use those routers. It constantly drop wifi and reboots. Rather get another non Telkom branded router you will see the difference.
