Telkom SmartBroadband Bundle Usages

I'm currently on a Telkom SmartBroadband LTE contract which means I get inclusive and a recurring data bundles for both daytime and night time usage - basically 4 bundles for the month.

1. Inclusive SmartBroadband Data
2. Included Telkom Mobile Night Surfer Data
3. Recurring LTE/LTE-A Anytime Data
4. Recurring LTE/LTE-A Night Surfer Data

Lately I've noticed that instead of using my inclusive data for the month and then my recurring data it will use my inclusive data for the one month and then start to use the inclusive data for the next month already - see attached image.

Has anyone else come across this issue perhaps?

I came across your post when searching for the same answer.

Have you managed to get an answer somewhere else on this matter?
As to why Telkom uses the Inclusive SmartBroadband Data for the next month before using the recurring data for the current month.

I logged a ticket with Telkom as well but to no surprise no feedback yet.

I am on the 40GB (anytime)+ 40GB (night surfer) deal plus recurring 20GB (anytime) + 20GB (night surfer).

I cannot exactly recall the conversation I had with a consultant but it had something to do with the fact that the recurring data was promotional or something like that...
 
As a medium user of data you might actually never benefit from the 20GB promotion.
I somehow understand their reasoning but it benefits them more than what it benefits their Customers. I will still use my data sparingly because if I do deplete my current month 40GB my next month 40GB will be less at the start of that particular next month.
Nice sales pitch from them > 40GB + 40GB AND 20GB + 20GB, not telling you about the T's and C's.
