Telkom 'still in control'

Thank you for nothing. When talks about a SNO started companies like AT&T and Bell was interested. Companies that could make a difference. ICASA was suscesfull to scare real investors away. I worked for Telkom and saw how things are done at Transnet. If I have to choose between Telkom and the current SNO I think I will have to stay with Telkom as joining a 500 pair cable with electricians tape and putting a R1000 000 PABX’s on rusted welded plates to prevent if from flooding during rain makes me want to weep. I can just hope that the way they do things have changed since.
Telkom mission statement once read "We want to become a world leader in Telecommunications" I suppose they saw how things were done at Transnet

The only real choice is to vote with our feet - we/the users are the largest stakeholders - how many of us can afford to do this - how many can afford not to?

All sucks - cannot understand how one company can hold a country to ransom... the only people squeeling are us - only people reading these forums is us... DOC is home in bed (another busy day tomorrow doing nothing)

and cannot understand telkoms wanton rape of the consumer - they know us well - and we're the idiots paying and paying then some more.
