Hi guys
I’m hoping someone can help. Last night we noticed that we are getting a no internet error. We tried restarting the modem (fibre line) and resetting our router. None helped. This morning we contacted our ISP and got hold of tech support. They asked us to go into the IP address and the quick setup, which we did. Step 1 required us to choose ADSL or ETH, we choose ETH, then tested the line. A message came up saying DHCP passed but PPPOE failed. The techie asked us to choose PPPOE and press next, which we did. Then we had to put in the username and password supplied by the ISP via sms which we tried to do but it said the credentials was wrong. The techie sent us a new one and we tried again (making triple sure the details were correct) but still showing the same error. Lost connection to the call and had to go back to work. I’m hoping someone might have an idea as to what is going on here? I’m a little lost now. Not sure what to do
