Hopefully someone from telkom reads this;
I have asked for my line to be moved to a new address the 1st of September 2015 - this was back in mid July. The lady helping me over the phone incorrectly captured it for 30th of September 2015. On the 1st I realised that no one was coming out and phoned telkom, only to be told it was scheduled for the 30th. The lady said she will change the date and the next available date was that coming Friday. All was well I waited until Friday and phone again once no one pitched only to be told now that they have no record of me phoning asking for the move to be scheduled for a different date.
This lady promised me that they will do the next friday and I made sure that she wrote it in the call logs. Low and behold the Friday came and gone with no Telkom tech. I phoned yet again and spoke to a gentleman who promised me it has been escalated and I should get a call from Telkom in the next 24 hours.. you guessed it, not a peep.
Phoned for the 5th time only to speak to a lady who screamed at her colleague "OH MY GOD! how do they employ such incompetent people" when someone bumped into her or something - whilst I was on the phone (go check the recordings telkom absolutely rude and disgusting behaviour) she also put the phone down in my ear.
Tried my luck on the online chat today - only be told "we cannot check order statuses and I should phone 10210
" even though you can select the option of "Service Requests" on their online chat screen...
What else is there to do ? I am on the point of cancelling after being a subscriber since dial up days..
