The problem is that it is not only costs that are important. Service also counts. And if they do not respond to an email enquiry within 48 hours and you have to wait 30 minutes on the phone for assistance, it is really worth paying a few rand a month more to go somewhere else.
Having said that, customer service in this country is non-existent, that is way so many people rave about certain ISP's. I suppose they are comparing their service to Telkom and it really delights them.
