Anyone know when telkoms going to change the proxy from asia to UK again.
Getting frustrated with high pings and slow internet.

Dont know of anyone who accesses asia sites more than Europe or US lol

My Tests When using Asia Websites i'm running at 200 ms or lower
When using Europe or US its going between 400 and 700 ms

Yes. Routing traffic via HongKong and not on SAT3

All of Telkom's proxy servers are located in South Africa.

well i still have not seen a drop in my latency though im not using telkom but i am using SAIX and so far still getting nice 400-500 ms latency in wow

which line you on cause if its 4 mbits should be below 400
Latency has nothing to do with the speed of the line. A 384 or 512kbps line should have the identical latency as a 4Mbps line over the same route.

Latency is impacted by routing and shaping.
